Terms and Conditions
You will receive travel documents by email when bookings are made. You are advised to review them for accuracy upon receipt. You may contact SDT if I have any questions. Often fares involve restrictions and changing any aspect of your travel arrangements will likely result in the payment of additional money. You will also get and agree to review the terms and conditions of the suppliers. You will be bound by those terms and conditions.
Credit Card Usage
Use of a credit card to pay suppliers may offer you the opportunity to dispute the charge should a supplier cease operating. You agree to pay all charges authorized by you. If SDT incurs any charges due to your declining or disputing a previously authorized charge, you agree to pay SDT for the costs incurred. You agree to provide SDT, upon request, a copy of your credit card (front and back) and your driver’s license as supportive proof of the credit card’s authenticity.
Transportation Security Administration (TSA); Airline Check-In; Baggage Allowances
TSA requires you to carry a government issued identification card in order to board a flight. A passport is necessary for an international flight. The full name, date of birth and gender that appears on the identification card must exactly match the same such data that is listed on my airline ticket and in my booking records. Failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding or an undue delay at an airport security checkpoint causing you to miss your flight.
It is your responsibility to check in with the airline prior to departure. Most airlines allow for check in via the airlines website 24 hours in advance. SDT does not handle the check in for clients except in extreme circumstances that will be documented in writing. SDT may advise you about baggage weight allowances and the cost of baggage on a flight; however, that information can change after booking and before departure. It is your responsibility to confirm baggage weight allowances and/or the cost of baggage through the airlines’ website if you are concerned about that issue.
Supplemental Price Increases
Airline tickets, air tours or other products are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. You will be responsible for any such increase.
Hazardous Materials Regulation
The Federal Aviation Administration has a regulation regarding the carriage of hazardous materials. If you are flying, you are bound by this regulation. The regulation is as follows:
"Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years' imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Examples: Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles, and radio-pharmaceuticals. There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toilet articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. For further information contact your airline representative. Please refer to the full list of TSA prohibited items at http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/prohibited-items
